Synergy IT assisted Ecometrix to setup another office in Cambridge, Ontario and merging their current acquisition of another company in Caledon, Ontario, addressing their growing IT needs, including setting up their Microsoft 365 for new users at highest level of security settings with best practices.
Business challenge
As Ecometrix was growing fast, challenge was quick addon of new employees seamlessly, merging new teams and adding new users to their environment while improving their workflows on projects at the same time. Phishing emails and social engineering spam mails had been a biggest challenge at one point.
Solution
Synergy IT upgraded their environment as per business strategy to go on cloud and reducing on premise infrastructure footprint to reduce their IT burden and to have more secure, scalable and available systems.
Microsoft 365 installed with Azure AD Synch and MS Intune for complete mobile device management. User awareness sessions done for MS Teams and MS SharePoint before implementation in the environment to have more inclusive approach from the users to support this transition. Synergy IT managed Services includes user awareness trainings on phishing and security as a standard service, It helps its clients with peace of mind and more engaged users with security programs. As a result, Ecometrix chose to work with Synergy IT’s Managed Services Team to provide ongoing support for its infrastructure as well as end-clients.
