Mobile order and Pay (MOP) Deployment
Starbucks is multinational coffee brand with 1338 locations across Canada. Synergy IT Team is proud to be a part of their initiatives for Infrastructure upgrades required to launch their Mobile App platform across country.
The program was to allow Starbucks customers to order and pay for food and drink ahead of time using their app, and pick-up their order in stores directly at the Handoff Plane. Infrastructure had to be ready within stipulated time ahead of the app launch with minimum store operation’s interruption. Since tech team were required to work only midnight or early morning hours, it was pertinent to follow strict Health and Safety measures.
Synergy Tech Teams did data cabling, label printers installation and Ticket printers installation for approximately 500 plus sites across country. Two techs were assigned for each location as work was to be done without any Starbucks staff onsite midnight hours. Synergy IT successfully completed the project to client satisfaction.
